Rules Of Passive Voice


ACTIVE VOICE AND PASSIVE VOICE
ACTIVE VOICE;
Definition; when the work is done by subject in a sentence is called active voice.
PASSIVE VOICE;
Definition; when the work is done by object in a sentence is called passive voice.
TRANSITIVE & INTRANSITIVE VERB
TRANSITIVE VERB;
Definition; transitive verb is poor of an object; without object it cannot give clear and complete meaning.
For example; He is eating…………….. (Uncompleted) He is eating an apple. (Complete)
INTRANSITIVE VERB:
Definition; intransitive verb is not poor of an object without object it can give complete and clear meaning.
For example; the sun is shining. He is dying. They were weeping.
SOME RULES OF PASSIVE VOICE;
(1) Subject changes in to object
 (2) Object changes in to subject.
(3) We used 3rd form of the verb in all passive voice.
(4) After 3rd form of the verb we use by.
(5) H.V will change according to the tenses.
(6) “I” changes in to “me”.
(7) “We” changes in to “us”.
 (8) “He” changes in to “him”.
(9) “She” changes in to “her”.
(10) “They” changes in to “them”.
(11) “You” and it or name will never change.
