Passive Voice of Past Indefinite Tense


PAST INDEFINITE TENSE;
Note; if we want to change the simple sentences of past indefinite tens then we will put helping verb of past continuous tens in passive voice sentences. For example;
Active Voice
Passive Voice
He played hockey in ground.
Hockey was played by him in ground.
They finished his work.
His work was finished by them.
I killed them in bazer.
They were killed by me in bazer.
He learned a computer.
A computer was learned by him.
NEGATIVE SENTENCES
Note; if we want to change the negative sentences of past indefinite tense then we will put helping verb of past continuous and after helping verb we will put “not” tens in passive voice sentences.
 For example;
Active Voice
Passive Voice
We did not write a book.
A book was not written by us.
He did not play cricket with them.
Cricket was not played by him with them.
She did not open the window.
Window was not opened by her.
I did not note you in exam.
You were not noted by me in exam.
                      Interrogative SENTENCES
Note; if we want to change the interrogative sentences of past indefinite Tense from active voice in to passive the first we will put helping verb and after helping verb we will add subject in passive voice sentences.
For example;
Active Voice
Passive Voice
Did you buy a mobile?
Was a mobile bought by you?
Did she cook food?
Was food cooked by her?
Did they learn a computer?
Was a computer learned by them?
Did I beat you?
Were you beaten by me?
                                 FORMAL SENTENCES
Note; if we want to change formal sentences of past indefinite tense then first we will put helping verbs and after helping verb we will put subject and after subject we will add “not” in passive voice sentences.
For example;
Active Voice
Passive Voice
Did she not cook food?

Was food not cooked by her?
Did they not abuse him?
Did I not write a story in register?
Was he not abused by them?
Was a story not written by me in register?
Did we not beat you in room?
Were not you beaten by us in room?
INFORMAL SENTENCES
Note; if we want to change in formal sentences of past indefinite tense from active voice to passive voice then first we will put helping verbs and after helping verbs we will put not and after that we will put subject.
For example;

Active Voice
Passive Voice
Did not you kill him?
Was not he killed by you?
Did not they watch movie?
Was not movie watched by them?
Did not he complete his work with them?
Was not his work completed by him with them?
Did not I deceive you?
Were not you deceived by me?
