For examples;
He says,” they have been working here for 2 days". (Direct Speech)
He says that they have been working here for 2 days. (Indirect Speech)
He said to them, “she has been weeping since morning". (Direct Speech)
He said to them that she had been weeping since morning. (Indirect-S)
She said, “You have been accumulating the books since 2010. (D-S)
She said that you had been accumulating the books since 2010. (I-S)
I said to him,” you have been perusing for five days". (Direct Speech)
I said to him that he had been perusing for five days. (Indirect Speech)
You said to us, “she has been absconding for 2 days from here". (D-S)
You said to us that she had been absconding for 2 days from there.(I-S)
He said to us,"gove has been depriving to the public from their rights".
He said to us that Gove had been depriving to the public form their rights. (Indirect Speech)
He said to me, “you have been aggravating to the books since morning.
He said to me that you had been aggravating to the books since morning. (Indirect Speech)
